Paul is our wonderfully knowledgeable Produce Manager. Working at Chuck’s was certainly not his first endeavor with produce. Paul began at a young age familiarizing himself with produce by picking local fruits and vegetables to earn money. This was just the beginning of 38 years in the business!

For 13 years he worked in the produce department at various Safeway stores around the Tacoma and Puyallup area. After that he went to work for Harry & David in Medford Oregon. There he spent 25 years working as a produce manager as well as a store manager. For the last 10 years he was also running a report called “From the Ground Up” for the local TV station in Medford. With this report he was able to inform viewers how to select their produce, what was currently in season and what its uses were. During his last 5 years with Harry & David, Paul became the produce buyer for their catalog.

Now, we are proud to say that Paul is working as the head of the produce department for the first Chuck’s Produce & Street Market here in Vancouver Washington! Paul is enthusiastic about the varieties and quality of fruits and vegetables he puts out in the store. Come and check them out today!
