Inside Chuck’s you will find many things, one of which is the convenience of a full service meat department. We carry only choice grade meats, in a variety of cuts. Our meat staff is always happy to share their knowledge as well as cut meat specific to your order.

We can confidently say our meat department upholds and is a good example of what is important to us here at Chuck’s. This means you will always find a nice mixture of free range and all natural products. Knowing where our product comes from is essential. We are dedicated to bringing you the best.

The cattle, chickens and other animals from which our quality meat comes from were raised in a clean fashion, not with the use of antibiotics or growth hormones. We believe in freshness and quality. Our meat department works hard to provide you with a wide selection of local and unique meat as well. We carry buffalo, elk, game hens and more in addition to our already plentiful assortment of more common meats. Whether it is grass fed beef, a fine rack of lamb or anything in between, you can be sure that at Chuck’s you will always find meat that is fresh and makes a great addition to your meal!

Dave is a great person to talk to behind our meat counter if you’re looking for an excellent cut of meat. He runs our in store Meat Market and is responsible for providing you with a wide selection of meat which comes to us fresh and without the use of antibiotics or growth hormones.

Dave’s experience began when he worked for Aqua Sea Salmon Farm in the San Juan Islands. He did this for three years and from there he ventured into a different line of work. He worked as an Estate Manager on large, private estates in Washington, Oregon, California and Connecticut for fifteen years. However, Dave eventually returned to the Meat and Seafood Department first in Wizer’s Market, then Lamb’s Thriftway and finally Chuck’s Produce and Street Market.

He is a part of our very knowledgeable staff and loves what he does! Do not hesitate to ask him for tips on preparing or cooking the meat you select, he’ll always have a great suggestion.
